Christmas Choo Choo

This holiday season, make your way to Denton Farm Park in Central North Carolina for the eigth annual Country Christmas Train.

The 20-minute ride on the decorated, full-size train includes a video of the story of Christmas, plus thousands of twinkling lights. Stop by the Gingerbread House for a fresh cookie and hot cocoa, then follow the pathway to the old-time general store, gristmill and radio museum. Kids can enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo, plus delicious food and Christmas gifts available for sale.

The Country Christmas Train takes place on specific dates in November and December. Admission is $13 for adults on Thursday, Friday and Sunday and $15 on Saturday, $5 for children under 11, free for children 4 and under. To plan your visit, go to countrychristmastrain.com or call (336) 859-2755.
