DUPLIN COUNTY Farm Bureau Women’s Committee member Glenda Beavers and member Bill Costin attended Career Day at Warsaw Elementary.  Costin spoke to the children about farming and brought corn, soybeans, cotton, and honey bees for the first-graders to see. Beavers read the the Rudy Rooster coloring book and gave each student a coloring book and crayons. Young Farmers & Ranchers members Hunter Frederick and AJ Searles also attended Career Day at Warsaw Elementary and spoke to kindergartners.  They brought a John Deere tractor for the children to sit in and had a booth with soybeans, corn, and wheat sitting out for the children to see.
