Left: ASHE COUNTY Farm Bureau Women’s Committee and Ashe Outreach Ministry’s Outgrow Hunger program sponsored a booth at the 2013 Ashe County SpringFest April 19 & 20 at Westwood Elementary School. They used My American Farm’s “My Miniature Greenhouse” curriculum to help 250 students plant basil seed to take home. Willy the Safety Squirrel passed out coloring books.
