SAMPSON COUNTY Farm Bureau Women’s Committee held a few service projects in recent months. They bought and served pizza at the Duplin-Sampson ADAP Center, which provides instruction to mentally and physically challenged adults. They also donated books, magazines, paper goods, toiletries, bath towels, stamps, laundry and dish detergent, Clorox and other cleaning supplies to Open Door Ministry in Delway.

SAMPSON COUNTY Farm Bureau had eight members attend the Breakfast with the Commissioner March 12 in Raleigh. NCFB President Larry Wooten was recognized at the event, which was a fundraiser for the Tobacco Farm Life Museum.Also, County President Tate Pope and his wife, Jackie Pope, represented Sampson County Farm Bureau at the Sampson County 4-H Harvest Carnival on Nov. 19.
