ROWAN COUNTY Farm Bureau helped sponsor a workshop for 50 people March 8 at the Ag Center in Salisbury. Several Highway Patrol officers spoke on highway safety rules and regulations. Farmers from several area counties attended the workshop and also heard from the Rowan County District Attorney on how the court system works. Rowan County Extension Director Darrell Blackwelder set up the event. Attendees were also given the chance to participate in a hearing safety program North Carolina Farm Bureau is sponsoring to help protect the hearing of those in production agriculture.

Ref Perquimans County FB Women’s Committee article about making underarm pillows for breast cancer patients, please have them contact me. I would like to know more about the project, if it’s spreading to other cities in NC, and how I can help. Thanks.
