Alamance County

Alamance

Alamance County Farm Bureau held a Homegrown in the Park event. The county Farm Bureau invited vendors from all different aspects of agriculture to the park to help them educate people on commodities produced in the county and everything that comes out of them. All county board members assisted in some way, and the city donated the use of the park and tents. Local FFA chapters at Southern Alamance High School and Western Alamance High School came out and helped, and they received donations from the county Farm Bureau. The third annual Homegrown in the Park will take place April 2, 2016, at Burlington City Park.
