Franklin County Farm Bureau sponsored the annual Farm City Week Luncheon held on Friday Oct. 30, 2015, at N&N Farms in Louisburg. The county women’s committee provided placemats and flyers with county agricultural statistics and information. Approximately 145 people enjoyed the lunch, which was catered by Cook Shack Catering. Included on the agenda were County President Bennie Ray Gupton and Vice President Steve Nelms, who gave brief remarks, and County Board Member Edward Wheeler, who was introduced for a segment named, “Time of Reflection/Tribute to Agriculture.” He also serves on the Franklin County FSA Committee as the chairman.
