Duplin County local level

Duplin

Duplin County Farm Bureau participated in the N.C. Farm Bureau Harvest for All challenge that requested each county Farm Bureau donate 1,000 canned good items to their local food shelter. The goal was to have more than 100,000 items donated across the state.

Duplin County participated by donating 1,000 canned goods to the Word of Faith Ministries in Kenansville. John Montford, Farm Bureau member and assistant manager at Food Lion in Wallace (pictured left) delivered the items on behalf of Duplin County Farm Bureau. Accepting the donation was John Quinn (middle) and Rocky Payton (right) from Word of Faith Ministries.
