Stanly County
Stanly County Farm Bureau sponsored an escort vehicle operator certification class on Aug. 16. Instruction was given on guidelines to be an escort vehicle driver for oversized loads. Simulators were on-site for participants to operate heavy equipment, MIG and stick welding, and painting. OSHA instructors from the college were on hand to teach and answer questions. Stanly County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee provided lunch for everyone attending.
