Davidson County Farm Bureau

Davidson County

Davidson County Cooperative Extension sponsored the Fork to Table luncheon on Nov. 25, 2013. About 80 people attended the event, which brings together the farming community and the business community. Everything prepared for the luncheon was grown in Davidson County, including steak, greens and sweet potatoes. Davidson County Farm Bureau was presented the Service to Agriculture, Community and Cooperative Extension award for not only the monetary donations they make to Extension but also the volunteer hours they give. Joe Hampton, superintendent of the Piedmont Research Station, was the keynote speaker.
