Transylvania County Farm Bureau presented Brevard College President Dr. David C. Joyce with the Farm Bureau’s Agriculture Advocate Award for his work and support in developing an Agricultural Education program at Brevard College. Brevard College, a four-year liberal arts institution focused on experiential learning, recently added an agriculture education licensure program within their Environmental Studies Department due to the growing need for qualified agriculture educators within North Carolina.
