Wayne County
The Wayne County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee held its Distracted Driving Safety Program in September 2013. Twenty-three teens and adults attended the program. They watched the distracted driving video and then discussed it. Each attendee was given a ‘winner’ medal to hang on their car mirror to remind them to not text and drive. The program was led by Patricia Herring, Wayne County Farm Bureau safety coordinator.
