CARTERET COUNTY Farm Bureau President Mickey Simmons met with kindergartners June 5 at Newport Elementary School in Newport to present the school with copies of How Did That Get in My Lunchbox? Carteret County Farm Bureau’s Board of Directors bought books and educators’ guides for every kindergarten, first-grade and second-grade class in the county, about 100 in all.
