When it comes to fresh spring strawberries, Ingram Farm knows a thing or two.
The family-owned century farm located in southern Guilford County has been growing strawberries for more than 25 years. Though they started with traditional matted rows, the farm moved to plasticulture in 1995, which means the berries are grown in beds with a plastic cover to make for better picking.
Visitors flock to the farm in High Point each spring for its sweet berries, which are offered as U-pick on 6 acres as well as pre-picked. Ingram Farm also has a country kitchen where guests can indulge in pies, cakes, cobblers, homemade ice cream and more using their fresh strawberries.
