NC State Ag Day

N.C. State University Athletics is giving the state’s agriculture industry well-deserved recognition with their third annual “Ag Day,” kicking off Thursday, Oct. 1.

“The agriculture industry plays a significant role in the state of North Carolina and we are proud to honor this industry once again this year,” N.C. State Head Football Coach Dave Doeren said in an earlier interview. “Ag Day has become one of our signature events and I expect it to be even bigger this season.”

North Carolina’s agriculture industry contributes close to $80 billion to the state’s economy each year, and the event honors the impact with activities such as Howling Cow ice cream, Ag Day t-shirts, agriculture displays, family-friendly interactive ag exhibits and more from the N.C. State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The football game on Saturday, Oct. 3 will be dedicated to Ag Day as well.
