ASHE COUNTY Farm Bureau hosted New Hanover County Farm Bureau Sept. 28 for a tour of Ashe County agriculture. Attendees visited the Upper Mountain Research Station; the Ashe County Agriculture Museum, which is managed by Ashe County board member Bobby Absher; County President Don Tucker’s Christmas tree farm and High Mountain Farm. Member and county extension agent Travis Birdsell helped plan the tour.
