CHATHAM COUNTY Farm Bureau President Charles Lutterloh, left, and board member Herbert Gaines, right, present a check for $10,000 to Chatham County Historical Society Director Barbara Pugh. The money is to help the society rebuild the county courthouse, which burned. The society’s offices were located in the courthouse.
