BRUNSWICK COUNTY
Farm Bureau donated $100,000 to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter, a new facility in Brunswick County that strives to enhance the quality of life for patients with a terminal diagnosis. BRUNSWICK COUNTY Farm Bureau Women’s Committee members Marsha Benton and Rita Hawes presented donations to Shallotte Assisted Living, Autumn Care of Shallotte and Hope Harbor Home, Inc. The nursing homes were given magazines, puzzle books and project supplies, while Hope Harbor Home, a home for battered women and children, were given clothes.
