WATAUGA COUNTY Farm Bureau, in partnership with Watauga Cooperative Extension, is helping provide fresh food for Hospitality House residents by giving them a tiller. Hospitality House serves seven northwestern counties and provides homeless and disadvantaged people and families with housing and training to get back on their feet. Meals are provided three times per day and residents will work in the gardens there to supply the kitchen with fresh produce.

Ref Perquimans County FB Women’s Committee article about making underarm pillows for breast cancer patients, please have them contact me. I would like to know more about the project, if it’s spreading to other cities in NC, and how I can help. Thanks.
