Avery County Farm Bureau President Brian Greene presented Jerry Moody of the Avery County Agriculture & Horticulture Fair with a check for $2,500 to help build a permanent livestock display for the fair. The Avery County A&H Fair suffered a tremendous loss when the livestock tents were damaged beyond repair due to a severe windstorm. With the help of local businesses and organizations, the fair is raising the money for a permanent livestock structure.
