Franklin

Women’s chairperson Kim Stewart and committee member Lynn Hamner worked a booth at the health and art fair at Franklinton Elementary. They assisted Liesa Seligman, Franklin County school nutrition training manager, and Sydney, a FES student, with the “What’s on My Plate” food group activity. The county women’s committee also donated water, raisins, agriculture bookmarks and placemats, which the cafeteria will use. Approximately 75 students and parents received the information during the fair. Kim also shared information on the Going Local Grants Program to the teachers and principal.
