Union County
The Union County Farm Bureau Partnered with Community Health Services of Union County, Lions Club, Nuvant Health and H.E.L.P Pregnancy Crisis Health Center and Participated in the Healthy Living for a Lifetime. This event helped several in our community. They screened 149 people for cholesterol, blood glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, and some had a vascular ultrasound. There was a great turnout, and the North Carolina Farm Bureau donated $2,500 to Community Health Services of Union County. Union County Farm Bureau also donated $1,500 to the Union County Community Shelter and $1,500 to the Pregnancy Crisis Center.
