Duplin County
Duplin County Farm Bureau board member Dexter Edwards presented multiple copies of two agriculturally themed books to Duplin County Schools for use in classrooms and libraries. The Beeman by Laurie Krebs and The Guardian Team: On the Job with Rena and Roo by Cat Urbigkit will be used to help students understand some aspects of beekeeping and ranching. Presenting the books is an extension of Farm Bureau’s efforts to ensure students of all ages understand the importance of agriculture and Duplin County’s leadership role in agriculture around the world.
