Pender County Farm Bureau’s YF&R Committee met at the Food Lion in Burgaw to purchase food for Pender County Christian Services, a local community food pantry that services the less fortunate in the area. The committee purchased $500 worth of food items, which totaled 1,600 pounds, for the donation in October 2013.
