Union County
Elton Braswell, former county Farm Bureau president and a current member of the Union County Farm Bureau board of directors, was inducted in the Agriculture Hall of Fame at the Farm City Banquet in September. Elton has been a farmer for many years and supported the ag industry his entire life. He is also a past member of the North Carolina Farm Bureau State Board and past vice president on the executive committee.
