MECKLENBURG COUNTY Lewis Bryan Strickland, 12, son of Mecklenburg County Farm Bureau members Bryan and Lori Strickland, won two 18-Under World Grand Championships in style racking classes with his mule, John-Henry. Strickland has been riding gaited mules for his grandfather, Farm Bureau member Don Williams, since he was 6. Strickland will show Oct. 21 at the N.C. State Fair.
