CHOWAN COUNTY Farm Bureau Board of Directors hosted its first Legislative Dinner Feb. 21 at the county office. Attending were U.S. Sen. Richard Burr, N.C. Sen. Ed Jones and local elected officials. The dinner allowed the 10 Chowan County farmers who serve on the board to provide input to their elected officials so that they can make informed decisions on issues facing agriculture.
