WAKE COUNTY Farm Bureau member John Burt, of Fuquay-Varina, was chosen as the Wake County Young Farmer of the Year. The county Board of Directors supported the Wake County Agribusiness Council by attending the 2012 Annual Southern Farm Show Kickoff Breakfast on Feb. 1.
