MCDOWELL COUNTY Farm Bureau recently donated $20,000 to the Occupational Program at McDowell High School for a new greenhouse that students will use to learn about agriculture. The program requires students to have a school-based industry and students will use math and science to cultivate plants in the greenhouse. In addition to the money, McDowell County Farm Bureau will donate expertise, materials and support to the program.
