These clever jokes are sure to tickle your funny bone

Recently, at our family-owned restaurant, a customer asked, “What’s good tonight?”
Obviously, we would never serve anything we didn’t think was good, so I braced myself when I heard the question posed to my husband.
He calmly replied, “Anything over $17.95.”

I went to my doctor yesterday. After a long wait in the outer office, my name was finally called.
When I got to the examining room, the nurse pointed to the scale and said, “I need to get your weight today.”
I replied, “One hour and five minutes.”

Two confirmed bachelors sat talking. Their conversation drifted from politics to cooking.
“I got a cookbook once,” one of the men said, “but I could never do anything with it.”
The other bachelor asked, “Too much fancy work in it, huh?”
“You said it,” the first bachelor exclaimed. “Every one of the recipes began the same way: Take a clean dish.”

The businessman dragged himself home, barely making it to his chair before dropping into it,  exhausted.
“You must have had a hard day today,” said his wife. “What happened to make you so tired?”
“It was terrible,” her husband said. “The computer broke down, and we all had to do our own thinking.”
