April 2006 Recipe of The Month: Smoky Mountain Country Casserole

Ingredients

1 small to medium Onion
Salt and Pepper
1/2 pound Breakfast Sausage
1-2 cans of Cream of Celery
1/2 each Red and Green peppers
1 pound Smoked Polish Sausage
1 package Flat Pasta Noodles
1 cup shredded cheese 

Instructions

  1.  Sauté some onions with red and green peppers. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In a separate Sauté pan, brown slices of smoked polish sausage and set aside. In that same pan, brown and crumble some of your favorite breakfast sausage and set aside. Combine everything (except browned breakfast sausage) with your favorite boiled noodles in a casserole. Mix in a can (or two, depending on quantity) of cream of celery (or mushroom) soup. Sprinkle browned sausage and your favorite shredded cheese on top.
  3. Bake at 350º F until cheese is browned.
