Greenlands Farm Camp

Greenlands Farm in Bolivia does more than just grow food. Sure, owners Henry and Heather Burkert and their daughter, Maud Kelley, offer organic produce, baked goods, honey, eggs and goats’ milk soaps. But they also invite visitors to enjoy yearly homestead dinners, where they serve farm-to-fork fare on their farmhouse’s back porch, and each summer, they host day camps for elementary-aged children.

In 2015, Greenlands will be holding its third camp, where kids can engage in hands-on activities including milking goats, making soap, picking vegetables, baking bread and more. The farm strives to teach kids where their food comes from and instill a better understanding of agriculture.
