For fresh, clean drinking and irrigation water, many landowners turn to private water wells. A new website, wellowner.org, provides helpful information to anyone who uses a private well.
The resource was created through an agreement between the National Ground Water Association and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The website features a variety of help from the Private Well Owner Hotline, a free monthly tip sheet, online training modules and more.
