Spend the holidays at the home of American poet and Pulitzer Prize winner Carl Sandburg for the Christmas at Connemara event.

The annual celebration honors the famous writer along with family holiday traditions.

Festival guests can enjoy musicians and storytellers performing traditional stories and music, while sipping hot cider and nibbling tasty cookies. There are also opportunities to participate in storytelling, singalongs, crafts and more.

This year’s event is being held on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The historic home will remain decorated with pretty poinsettias and a traditional Christmas tree through Jan. 6, 2018. For more information, visit nps.gov/carl.
