BLADEN COUNTY Farm Bureau Women’s Committee held a sun safety awareness booth during Bladen County Agricultural Service Center’s 15th Annual Agricultural Appreciation Dinner. Their efforts included bringing a skin analyzer magnifier machine and health professionals were there to answer questions. Women’s Committee Chair Brenda Brisson spoke to the group of 200 attendees about the importance of sun safety awareness and preventive measures.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY Farm Bureau Women’s Committee members Marsha Benton and Kay Coleman had a booth at the annual Pumpkin Day Oct. 15 at Indigo Farms, which is owned and operated by board member Sam Bellamy’s family. They passed out safety coloring books, crayons, wristbands and candy to more than 200 children.
