The Blue & Gold

The FFA jacket means a lot to FFA members, but it also comes with a cost. Alice Hartley, the advisor for the St. Stephens High School FFA chapter in Hickory, requested assistance in the purchasing of FFA jackets for some of its members. Catawba County Farm Bureau alternate board member Julie Lehmann delivered the check, and students Leslie Juares and Avery Dagoe joined in a photo, promising to pay it forward by reading ag-related books at the local elementary school.
