Alamance County

Earlier this year, Alamance County celebrated its agricultural heritage and the future of the industry in Alamance County and the state. Exhibits focused on commodities produced within the county and state, such as dairy and beef cattle, beekeeping, forestry, specialty crops and more. There were also new and antique farm equipment on display and live music. This year, the celebration included a new whole hog barbecue cook-off, and everyone who attended received barbecue sandwiches and ice cream.
