On the Local Level

Randolph County

The Randolph County Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee hosted a Farm Safety Day on Sept. 24, 2017. Several experts made presentations including chain saw safety, grain bin safety, power take off safety, rollover protection and transporting agricultural products and equipment safely on North Carolina roads and highways. Kyle Cashwell, a farm accident survivor, also spoke to the group. This event was attended by farmers, first responders and firefighters.
