HALIFAX COUNTY native Scott Uzzell, member of the Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee at N.C. State University, recently visited a second-grade class at Hobgood Academy to read and donate a copy of Seed Soil Sun. Halifax County Farm Bureau donated the book. Uzzell graduated from Hobgood Academy in 2002.
