Celebrate Independence Day with a full day of Wild West Family Fun at Tweetsie Railroad and the largest fireworks show in the High Country. On Friday, July 4th, Tweetsie Railroad will be open extended hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m., in honor of the nation’s 250th birthday, as well as the 69th anniversary of the opening of the Tweetsie Railroad theme park (established July 4, 1957).
