Sun Drop

The first recipe for Sun Drop was technically invented in Missouri by salesman Charles Lazier in 1928. However, Lazier shared his recipe with his friend, Gaston County soft drink bottler Charles P. Nanney, who perfected the flavor and added it to his production line. Although Sun Drop is currently made in Tennessee, Gastonia Bottling produced the beverage for over 65 years.
