Christmas in July Festival

No need to head to the North Pole to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus this summer. He will be making an appearance at the Christmas in July festival in downtown West Jefferson.

The 28th annual event takes place July 4-5, celebrating the area’s Christmas tree industry with fun competitions, more than 20 mouthwatering food vendors, live music, and of course, a visit from Mrs. Claus and Santa himself.

The festival, which started in 1987, draws thousands each year, helping to promote tourism in Ashe County. Learn more at christmasinjuly.info.
