United While Socially Distant

Mask Project

In spite of these unprecedented and isolating times caused by the coronavirus pandemic, members of North Carolina Farm Bureau’s State Women’s Committee have united to sow seeds of kindness and education in their respective communities. Fifty committee members across North Carolina have been busy making and donating face masks to those in need across the state. The women came together to combine their resources and strengths, from sharing fabric and elastic to physically sewing the masks and distributing and shipping them. In total, more than 1,000 masks were made and donated.
