Get outside and enjoy a beautiful summer morning picking local fruit and flowers at Blueberry Thrill Farm in Gibsonville. This family-owned farm run by Farm Bureau members Rick and Nan Langhorne and their son, Wil, has been offering pick-your-own fruit since 1982. Today, the Langhornes grow fresh blueberries, blackberries, apples and eight varieties of peaches for visitors to pick in the summer. They also offer farm-fresh flowers for DIY bouquets, including zinnias, sunflowers, Asiatic lilies, hydrangeas and peonies.

Long pants vs. shorts, boots vs. sandals, long sleeves vs. short sleeves depending on if there are stickers, marshy land vs. dry, etc. What would you suggest?
