Enjoy some of the state’s freshest oysters on the North Carolina Oyster Trail. Administered by the North Carolina Coastal Federation and North Carolina Sea Grant in partnership with the North Carolina Shellfish Growers Association, the NC Oyster Trail features unique tourism experiences centered around delicious local oysters.

Tour a shellfish farm, taste a variety of North Carolina oysters at local seafood restaurants and markets, visit oyster festivals, and more. The goal of the trail is to help sustain and grow the supply and demand for North Carolina oysters while benefiting the seafood industries in the state’s coastal communities.
