North Carolina Poultry Jubilee

Nov. 7-8, 2025, Rose Hill

Now that’s a big skillet. Home to the World’s Largest Operational Frying Pan and the headquarters of one of the nation’s largest poultry companies, House of Raeford Farms, the town of Rose Hill knows a thing or two about chicken.

North Carolina’s $13 billion poultry industry creates more than 100,000 jobs in the state. The annual Jubilee celebrates the industry, people and the way of life that keeps North Carolina financially stable and a wonderful place to live, work and play.

Friday night kicks off the weekend with a wing cook-off, entertainment and carnival rides to prepare for the big fry on Saturday. Starting at 11 a.m., the town of Rose Hill will fill the World’s Largest Operational Frying Pan with more than 200 gallons of cooking oil and fry 365 chickens at once. The rest of the afternoon will include a variety of entertainment acts, rides, activities – including the NC Poultry Jubilee Pageant – and lots of fried chicken.
