Highlighting county news and events from North Carolina Farm Bureau members throughout the state. 

ALEXANDER COUNTY Farm Bureau Board of Directors hosted the Healthy Living for a Lifetime mobile health screening unit April 23 at Wal-Mart in Taylorsville. Alexander County Farm Bureau donated $2,500 for local health programs and 142 residents were screened.

ASHE COUNTY Farm Bureau sponsored a fatal vision program May 1 at Ashe County High School. Two-hundred fifty juniors and seniors completed the driving course to discourage drunk driving. All students signed a Prom Promise pledging not to drink and drive on prom night.
