About

The Annual Barbecue Festival is held in Uptown Lexington on a nine-block stretch of Main Street closed to traffic. More than 300 exhibitors will be selling everything from handmade crafts to handmade fudge. There will also be a juried competition including artists and craftsmen from across the country, while six stages of entertainment will showcase local and national artists. The festival is for all ages and features the Barbecue Carnival & Family Area, a special section of rides and games for children. This year’s notable attractions include an antique car cruise-in, a bicycle stunt show, a 50-ton, pig-themed sand sculpture, a Corvette display and much more! Barbecue will be served out of three main tents – one at the square and the two others on the north and south ends of the festival. Admission is free.
