Not a comment, but a question. Do you know of any farmers in western NC who grow organic apples? Apples are on the dirty dozen list for pesticide residue, and I only eat ones that are organic. I have a couple of apple trees and peach trees myself and I never spray, and of course my fruit is usually destroyed by insects. For a few years I was able to get some good peaches, but now something eats them from the inside out.
Any suggestions?
