Jack ScismJack Neal Scism, 77, of Kings Mountain, went to be with his Lord on Dec. 1, 2014. He was a fourth-generation, lifelong farmer, owner and operator of Scism Farms. He was a member of the Cleveland County Farm Bureau board of directors for 44 years, having served as president three times. He was a member of the N.C. Farm Bureau board of directors for 30 years and a member of the N.C. Certified Seed Board of Directors for many years. Jack and his family were recipients of the Cleveland County Farm Family of the Year three times. He also received many other farm awards over the years.
